Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy aims to maximize function and to restore motor independence.
Physical Therapists work with individuals to improve mobility as well as to prevent
loss of mobility. Our Physical Therapists will assess joint motion, muscle strength, endurance, cardiac function, sensation, muscle tone, reflexes, and performance of functional activities to develop an individualized treatment plan that is right for you.

Occupational Therapy

The focus of Occupational Therapy is to assist you in maximizing independence with your functional daily living activities and skills. With help from our Occupational Therapists, many residents can achieve or regain a higher level of independence with self-care activities, work as well as leisure pursuits. Occupational Therapy may be especially effective with those whose ability to function independently has been impaired by a physical injury or a debilitating condition like heart disease, arthritis, stroke or Parkinson's disease. The therapist may use adaptive equipment, exercise to increase strength and endurance as well as counseling to adapt to age-related changes such as decreased energy and vision.

Speech Therapy

The goal of Speech Therapy is to maximize communication and swallowing skills through individualized treatment programs. Speech and Language Pathologists will typically work with individuals recovering from strokes and brain injuries as well as individuals who have language or swallowing disorders due to progressive neurological disorders with cognitive impairments such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, or dementia.
